Britain is an island occupied for thousands of years; the history of those years can be seen not only in written records, but also in myths, legends, and strange stories. Among the doubtful and dubious tales that have been told, there are other accounts that by their very strangeness, or by the reliability of the accounts, suggest that they should be taken more seriously.
This website describes some of the strange things that people have seen, heard, or otherwise experienced. I shall make no attempt to explain what I describe in terms of 'Earth Energies', or 'Alien Abduction'. It would be wrong to say that I, or anyone else, has all the answers. Nor am I here to advertise a pub where you might see a ghost, nor to sell you a ghost-hunting book. I just want to tell you some stories.
